Stupid Simple AI for small business

Terms and refunds

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms cover everything you buy or join through Stupid Simple AI. They're written in plain English. If anything isn't clear, email hello@spencertoogood.com before you buy.

Who we are

Stupid Simple AI is run by OSSS Performance Pty Ltd (Spencer Toogood), Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. "We" and "us" means OSSS Performance Pty Ltd. "You" means the person or business buying or joining.

Prices and payment

What you get

The free community

Free to join, on Skool. You get the Business Brief course, the community, the Resources library and the Thursday Ask Me Anything. Skool's own terms also apply. We may remove anyone who is rude, spams or sells to other members.

Do it yourself (A$495)

Access to the Business Brief, Business Hub, Business Planner and Video Editor courses in the Skool group, and the Business Hub kit, to use in your own business. We add lessons as we build them. We'll add you to the courses within one business day of payment. If the courses ever move or close, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and you keep anything you've downloaded.

The Stupid Simple Setup (A$990 founding round, then A$1,495)

Four live group calls on the dates shown on the Setup page, plus the recordings, the "do this" sheets, mid-week check-ins, and the Do it yourself courses. Places are limited. If you miss a call, you get the recording, and you can bring your questions to the next call or the Thursday Ask Me Anything. If we ever need to move a call, we'll tell you as early as we can and record it.

Done for you (from A$2,495)

We quote in writing after a chat. The quote sets out what's included, the price, the timing and the payment terms, and it forms part of these terms.

What you need

A computer and your own Claude subscription. Claude Pro costs about US$20 a month and is paid to Anthropic, not to us. Other tools you choose to connect (email, calendar, social accounts) stay yours, under their own terms.

Refunds

Do it yourself

Because you get the courses and the kit straight away, we don't offer refunds if you change your mind. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply (see below).

The Stupid Simple Setup

Come to the first call. If it's not right for you, email us within 24 hours of the end of that call and we'll refund you in full, including any instalments paid. After that, there are no change-of-mind refunds, because your place can't be offered to someone else. If you need to drop out for a serious reason, talk to us: we may move you to a later round.

Done for you

As set out in your written quote.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away. If something we sell has a major problem, you're entitled to a remedy, and we'll put it right.

Results

We teach and set up a system that works in our own business. How much it helps yours depends on how you use it, so we can't promise a particular result, like hours saved or income earned. Claude and other AI tools can get things wrong: check anything important before you send, post or rely on it.

Your work and ours

Your information

How we handle your information is in our privacy policy.

Liability

Apart from the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, and as far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service in question.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
