Case study
One mistake is fine. Two is not.
An email went out with the wrong day on it. Here's how Claude and I made sure it can't happen again, and how you can do the same.
The problem
I sent out an invite to a free workshop. The workshop was on a Thursday. The invite said Friday.
It went to a whole group, and ten people got the wrong day by email. The worst part? Claude had flagged the date in another chat. I didn't pay attention.
What I did about it
Mistakes happen. One mistake is fine. Two mistakes is not.
So I asked the question we all skip when we're busy: why did this happen, and how do I stop it happening again?
The answer was simple. Nobody checked the dates against the days before it went out. So Claude and I wrote a checklist and saved it in my Business Hub as a skill. Now, before anything goes out, Claude runs it:
- Do the dates and days match?
- Do the links work?
- Are the prices right?
- Are the names spelt right?
Why it works
A sticky note on the screen gets ignored after a week. A skill in the hub runs every time, because Claude reads the hub before it does the job. I don't have to remember. That's the whole point.
Try it in your business
Next time something goes wrong, don't just fix it. Ask Claude:
"This went wrong. Why did it happen, and what checklist would stop it happening again? Save it as a skill in my hub."
Fix it once, and it stays fixed.
